About Us

Derm Haus Brisbane is a medical aesthetics and skin clinic providing a diverse range of medical aesthetic and dermal therapies. We are a results-driven clinic and work with each client to design personalised treatment plans to help them overcome their aesthetic concerns and achieve skin that they love.  

Our skin menu includes: DMK enzyme therapy, IPL, skin needling, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, LED light therapy, PRP, and Cosmelan. 

About You 

You are a driven and passionate Dermal Therapist. You are skin obsessed, take a scientific approach, and are keen to join a close-knit, motivated team of Dermal Therapists and Nurses.

Essential skills, experience & qualities: 

  • A results-driven approach with a caring and empathetic manner and the ability to build positive relationships with clients.

  • Experience conducting skin consultations and skin analysis (using Observ 520 or similar) and providing client-focused treatment plans.

  • Team player with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment and independently.

  • Strong understanding of dermal therapies and dermal science. 

  • Commitment to learning, continually developing your skills and keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends and techniques. 

  • Available to work fortnightly Saturdays. 

 

Desirable (but not essential) skills and experience: 

  • Completion of a Graduate Diploma of Dermal Science or similar. 

  • 2+ years industry experience 

  • Experience with the DMK range and/or enzyme therapy.

  • Experience performing IPL treatments. 

  • Basic knowledge of injectables and non-surgical aesthetic treatments. 

The Role

You’ll work as part of a collaborative team of Registered Nurses and Dermal Therapists in our Annerley clinic. 

The role involves: 

  • Performing facial treatments including skin needling, DMK enzyme therapy, IPL, chemical peels, Cosmelan, microdermabrasion, PRP, LED light therapy. 

  • Conducting thorough consultations and skin analysis (using Observ 520) and providing bespoke treatment plans.

  • Providing an exceptional personalised experience for our clients, including educating clients on their treatment options.

  • Collaborating with a Senior Dermal Therapist and team of Registered Nurses and referring clients, where appropriate, to ensure the very best outcome for our clients. 

  • Maintaining a strong commercial focus and identifying sales opportunities that adds value to clients and grow the business.

  • Prescribing and selling at-home prescriptives from our skincare ranges.

  • General administration, client communications and diary management.

This can be a part-time role with 10-20 hours per week available initially and the opportunity to expand as your client base grows. If you are looking for full-time hours, we also have additional administration hours available for the right candidate. We will work with you to create a roster that works for you, your family and the business. In saying that, you will need to be available at least every second Saturday.
